This is a drawing of my good friend, Lizzatte Sanchez, who has run my house (and my life) for the past nearly thirty years. She has eagle eyes, doesn’t miss a trick, and woe betide the person who gets on the wrong side of her. Rarely do I embark on a project without consulting her first. She’s one of my chief advisers and my life is certainly the better for it because, left to my devices, I would certainly have made some terrible choices.
