Portrait Featured in Artistonish Magazine

Nicole Jeffords, Aralyn, Austin’s Queen of Weird | Oil on Canvas 20” x 16” (2018)

I’m pleased to announce that my portrait, Aralyn, Austin’s Queen of Weird, was selected for the latest issue of Artistonish Magazine!

About the model: Aralyn Hughes is a dear friend of mine who hit the pavement running when she arrived in Austin decades ago. She's a visual artist, actor, YouTube vlogger, former real estate broker, writer and performance artist. And now she’s teaching Austin’s newcomers how to do it.

Artistonish is a contemporary art magazine published by Discover the Artist media holding. It focuses on telling the compelling story of significant arts created by brilliant artists from all around the world. The online version of the magazine is published and circulated worldwide, while the print magazine can be ordered online on their website.

Have a look at all the exquisite works from artists from around the world—from over 100 countries! (Aralyn’s portrait is on page 47.)
