Faces of Politics: A Solo Exhibition

Faces of Politics is an international online exhibition presented by Exhibizone featuring 24 of the political portraits I feverishly painted during the Trump administration during my time as editor-in-chief of ArtProfiler. It seems like ages ago that many of the faces included played such a large role in our lives, and yet, somehow, several are still in the news today.

We have Trump, formerly known as Twitler, who is still in denial about losing the election to President Biden and who is facing heaps of trouble with his business and personal affairs. There’s Lieutenant Colonel Vindman who was the star witness in the Ukraine impeachment saga and got fired for it; it was just announced that he is suing Trump family members and members of that administration for conspiracy to intimidate him. Mitch—the grim reaper—McConnell continues to make stupid decisions, such as his most recent remarks about African-Americans’ voting rights. Bernie and AOC remain the faces of change that young American progressives support with vigor.

See all these faces and more in this online exhibition that opens Thursday, February 3 and runs through Saturday, March 5. You can read more about my artistic process for these portraits in this article featured in Art Week.
