I submitted my story, “Suspended,” to Causeway Lit back in March and promptly forgot about it, so imagine my surprise when I received a letter from one of the editors last week informing me that the story had been selected as the publication’s Spring Fiction Winner!

“Suspended” centers around a New York family -- husband, wife and college-age son who have become disconnected from one another and have lost their sense of purpose until a beautiful young woman who claims she’s a hands-on-healer enters their lives and shakes everything up.
